Unbelievable location for exploring, with museums, pubs, and walks right on our doorstep! No need for the car. The shower curtain issue was resolved, and the outside seating was a bonus for our walking boots. We couldn't get enough of the high vaulted ceiling in the lounge/kitchen/dining room. The comfy bed and ample storage were just what we needed. Despite the scorching weather, we had an amazing stay in this quiet and charming house. Plus, the local village's friendly atmosphere and fantastic shops and restaurants made it even better. And let's not forget the washing machine - a total lifesaver for keeping our clothes fresh.

Free private parking: The convenience of having free private parking at the accommodation was a game-changer. No more circling the streets like a confused GPS trying to find a spot! I could just park my car stress-free and enjoy my stay.
Limited patio seating: The lack of available patio chairs meant I couldn't fully enjoy the beautiful weather outside.

I loved the fact that there was free private parking at the hotel. It made me feel like a VIP. The hiking opportunities in the area were also great, although I prefer a more leisurely stroll myself, darling.
Oh, the Wi-Fi signal was just fabulous…I had the time of my life trying to connect. Absolutely marvelous.

The location was perfect, within walking distance to museums and pubs, and we didn't even need to use our car. The property was super clean and well-maintained, and I was especially impressed with the upper lounge space. The converted school hall-style annexe was peaceful and had a lovely lounge/kitchen/dining room with a high vaulted ceiling. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of space to store our clothes. It was a wonderful stay overall, despite the unbearably hot weather. The surrounding area was quiet and had a beautiful walk to the town center.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The location couldn't have been better, with awesome walks, fascinating museums, and cool pubs all within walking distance. And guess what? We didn't even need to use the car! The shower issue from previous reviews was non-existent as they had resolved it with a curtain. Oh, and the outside seating was super useful for slipping on our walking boots. If only the weather had been cooler, we would have used it more! The converted school hall charm was jaw-dropping, especially the impressive lounge/kitchen/dining room with its high vaulted ceiling. The bed was incredibly comfy, and there was heaps of space to store our clothes. Despite the unbearable heat, our stay was still oh so enjoyable. The surrounding area was peaceful and oh so quiet, with a delightful stroll down to the center of town. And did I mention the free Wi-Fi, free parking, and all the amazing activities nearby like hiking, canoeing, and bowling? Plus, they even had board games for some extra fun! The property was spotlessly clean and impressively maintained. Hands down, this place rocked!

The room at Wesley Rooms Annexe was absolutely fantastic! It felt like a home away from home with its fully equipped kitchen, including a microwave. The seating area was so cozy and perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. And let's not forget about the flat-screen TV, which was great for winding down in the evenings. I felt so comfortable and at ease in the room.
Personally, I would have preferred a bathtub instead of just a shower, but that's just my preference. Others might still find it enjoyable.

The hiking trails near the hotel were absolutely stunning, taking us through lush forests and offering breathtaking views of the river. It was a wonderful way to connect with nature and spend quality time with our family.
My children wanted more outdoor activities for kids.

I loved that there was free private parking, because who doesn't want to park their fancy car for free? Also, the hiking possibilities in the area were so thrilling, I practically climbed Mount Everest in my Jimmy Choos.
Oh, how delightful it was to have no shower gel, shampoo, or conditioner provided. Such a fantastic way to test my resourcefulness and remind me of my glorious camping days.
